Fright Zone FAQ

How scary is it? Are there jump scares?

Yes — expect intense theming, loud sounds, low lighting, fog, and jump scares. Our actors are trained to startle, not harm.

Will actors touch me? Can I touch them?

Actors will not intentionally touch you, and you may not touch actors, props, or sets.

How long does the experience take?

Most groups spend about 10–15 minutes in each haunted house, plus time for the Monster Museum and Outpost 51. Plan roughly 60–90 minutes to do all four attractions, depending on crowds and your pace.

Is there an age recommendation?

We recommend ages 12+ for the haunted houses. Younger guests are welcome at a parent/guardian’s discretion. Minors should be accompanied by an adult.

Is it accessible? Wheelchairs, strollers, service animals?

The museum is generally accessible. The haunted houses include tight spaces, uneven footing, low lighting, and loud effects. Service animals are permitted; pets and strollers are not inside haunted house attractions. If you need accommodations, please see a staff member before entering.

Do you use fog, strobes, or loud effects?

Yes. Fog/haze, strobe lighting, sudden audio, and strong themed scents may be used. Not recommended for guests with photosensitive epilepsy, heart/respiratory conditions, recent surgery, pregnancy, or similar health concerns.

Can I wear a costume or bring props?

For safety, no masks, face coverings, or prop weapons are allowed inside the attractions.

What should I wear?

Closed-toe, flat shoes are strongly recommended. Avoid heels, sandals, or loose items. Some areas may be dim, narrow, or feature uneven surfaces.

Do I need to buy tickets in advance? Are they refundable?

Online tickets are recommended for busy nights; tickets may also be purchased at the door. All sales are final. If you need help with a booking issue, please contact us before your visit.

What if it rains?

Attractions generally operate rain or shine. Any schedule changes will be posted on our social channels and website.

Are food, drinks, smoking, or vaping allowed?

No outside food or drinks inside attractions. Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside buildings or queues.

IMPORTANT PARKING INFORMATION

All parking is located behind the museum on Six Companies Drive, accessible via Yucca St or Mesquite St.
